A BABY girl in a pram was killed and a man and woman seriously hurt after an alleged drug driver ploughed into a group of pedestrians in London on Sunday.

Witnesses called 999 after the crash in Eastcote Road at 4.15pm.
Despite the efforts of police and paramedics, the 22-month-old tot died at the scene.
A man in his 30s was also injured in the crash.
He initially feared to be critically hurt, but has now been discharged from hospital and is recovering at home.

A woman suffered injuries that were not life-threatening or life-changing.
She did not require hospital treatment.
A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury while driving, and driving while unfit through drugs.
Police say the man, woman and baby 'were known to each other'.
Detective Sergeant Sarah Donegan of the Met Police has now called for anyone with information to come forward.
“Our thoughts are with the child’s parents at what must be an unimaginably difficult time," she said.
“We have launched an investigation to establish the circumstances of what happened.
"I am asking anyone who was in the vicinity at that time who may have seen something, or has dashcam footage or CCTV, to come forward and help us with our investigation.”
Enquiries into the full circumstances continue.
Following the tragedy, officers said they were called to reports of a collision involving a car, two pedestrians and a baby in a pram at the junction of Eastcote Road and Kings College Road.
The child's next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
