The partying comes just hours after Boris Johnson announced that England will go into lockdown for the second time next week.

From Thursday, all non-essential businesses must close for four weeks in the latest bid to curb growing Covid numbers.

Restaurants, bars and pubs must all shut, and Brits must stay at home apart from for essential outings.

Indoor and outdoor leisure facilities such as bowling alleys, leisure centres and gyms will be shut - and people will only be allowed to exercise outdoors.

The lockdown announcement came as Britain officially passed one million cases of the virus today.

21,915 more people tested positive and 326 people died of the virus.
