Geri Halliwell teased fans with a short clip from her upcoming project and we’re already excited.
The Spice Girls icon took to Twitter to share a 30-second video of a queen riding a horse-drawn carriage before the screen turns to black and the words ‘She’s coming…’ appear.
The 48-year-old tweeted: ‘She’s coming….#RainbowWoman.’
Unfortunately, this won’t be anything music-related as the star has returned to writing children’s books while taking a break from singing.
Just last month, Geri reportedly trademarked the name Rainbow Women for her upcoming books.
Ginger Spice’s new series will apparently focus on the celebrations of LGBTQ+ people, according to The Sun.
An insider told the publication: ‘Rainbow Woman will build on the Spice Girls’ “girl power” legacy but will also celebrate diversity and LGBTQ people, which she has long been a supporter of.
‘Geri is all about love and acceptance so it’s important for that to be at the centre of everything she does.
‘She recently filed legal documents to protect the name Rainbow Woman and has been hard at work on the project.’
Geri has a lot of experience writing children’s novels and released her series Ugenia Lavender in 2008.
Meanwhile, fans have been hoping that the Spice Girls will be reuniting all over again – after going on a sold-out tour last year.
Although Victoria Beckham sat out of the tour, sources insist that Posh Spice has been thinking about returning.
‘With David soon set to return to Miami, Victoria is worried about spending long chunks of time apart from him again and has been thinking about how nice it would be to regroup with the girls on a friendship level,’ they claimed to new! magazine.
‘She hopes if she joined them for a reunion it would do just that, as she’s admitted to pals she’s been feeling rather lonely lately.’
