Priyanka Chopra has been busy filming Matrix 4 abroad but she made it home just in time to celebrate Karwa Chauth with husband Nick Jonas.
The couple, who married in December 2018, look completely smitten and affectionate as they mark the special day in their latest Instagram photos.
Jonas Brothers star Nick wraps his arms around the Baywatch actress while looking lovingly at each other. Another photo shows Priyanka stunning in a traditional red saree while holding a Puja thali, a prayer plate.
‘Happy Karva Chauth everyone. Blessed to have my beautiful wife home,’ Nick captioned his photos while Priyanka added in her own post: ‘Happy Karwa Chauth to everyone celebrating.❤️ I love you @nickjonas.’
Karwa Chauth is a one-day festival which is celebrated by some married Hindu women who fast on the fourth day after a full moon.
Nick, 28, has made the most of having Priyanka, 38, home as she spent several weeks filming the new Matrix sequel in Germany last month.
The actress revealed she was filming with the cast, which includes Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss, after sharing photos of herself in Berlin.
Following her return home to California, Priyanka shared a sweet photo of her reunion with Nick and their two dogs.
‘Home is where the heart is @diariesofdiana @ginothegerman @nickjonas,’ she wrote.
Nick also fawned over his spouse in a cosy throwback snap and told his followers: ‘How lucky am I?’ to which the actress replied: ‘My love!!! 😍 I’m the luckiest.’
The couple will have plenty more celebrating in the coming weeks as they mark their second wedding anniversary.
They tied the knot with a full weekend of traditional Hindu ceremonies in Priyanka’s native India in December 2018, making for one of the most extravagant celebrity weddings in recent years.
Since then, the pair have added a new addition to their family after taking in a rescue dog who they named Panda.
