The YouTuber took to the dancefloor during the second live show, where he danced the Viennese Waltz with dance pro Janette Manrara.
After receiving amazing feedback and scores from the judges, Claudia Winkelman surprised HRVY with a message from his nan Joyce.
It really was the purest thing.
Appearing via video link, the singer’s nan told him: ‘Hi Harv, hi Janette, really looking forward to seeing you dance this week.
‘You have made us all so proud. I can’t wait to see you Saturday night on the tele, we’ll all be voting for you.
‘Good luck, love you loads, nan.’
HRVY struggled to hold back the tears after the clip, and host Claudia even apologised for making him upset.
‘Sorry, we didn’t mean to make you sad,’ she explained.
‘You love her so much, she loves you so much and she is going to love this look.’
‘Yes, I hope you like it nan,’ HRVY replied.
Fans feared that the dancing competition would be cancelled after viewers anxiously waited for Boris Johnson’s latest coronavirus announcement.
However, the BBC series went ahead as usual, just a few minutes later than planned.
The delayed start also meant that the professional dancer’s Halloween routine was cut from the beginning of the show.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturday at 7.10pm on BBC One.
